Our goal is to empower communities to grow and create more impact in the world. We are looking for a variety of digital volunteers; experience in design, programming, journalism, content creation, social media, copy writing, videography, AI, research, story-telling, marketing and promotion and more is all welcomed but being open to learning, having a positive attitude and working as part of a team is more important.

Do you have an idea for a project?

Whether you have an idea for a social impact project but don’t know where to begin, or you have taken steps to start your project and would like the support of digital volunteers to grow your project, we would love to hear from you! Together we can explore the possibility of organising a camp around your project to generate ideas, take action and create more positive impact in the world. You must be absolutely committed to your project idea, Freenity will support and empower you with tools and a team of volunteers who are ready to share their skills and time to work on your project idea. You should be passionate about your project idea and the change you wish to create in the world, this way your motivation, inspiration and drive to continue will come naturally.

Steps required to become a project leader:

  1. Fill in the application form
  2. Interview
  3. Join a camp for another project to explore and learn about the camp process
  4. Complete the project plan template provided by Freenity
  5. Read and confirm you agree with our Project Leader Agreement document
  6. Start the camp preparations

Ways to use Freenity for positive world change:

  1. Support startup projects in various fields e.g tourism, social, empowerment
  2. Supporting existing communities in various fields to raise awareness of the work they are doing
  3. Support for people united by global issues - e.g. fighting to stop deforestation, climate change, racism
  4. Uniting people to resolve issues that aren't covered by global news channels, and are local to a specific country, city or village
